From "it won't turn on" to "it's just gotten slow," we diagnose and repair all makes of Windows desktops and laptops right here in Watertown.
Computers fail in a lot of ways, and after working on them since 2008 we've seen most of them. Common repairs we handle in-house include:
If your computer takes ten minutes to start, gets hot enough to warm the room, makes clicking or grinding sounds, shows pop-ups you didn't ask for, or has simply stopped being reliable, it's time. Small symptoms often mean cheap fixes when they're caught early — a $30 fan cleaning beats a cooked processor every time. Ignoring a clicking hard drive, on the other hand, can turn a simple repair into a data recovery job.
We won't sell you a repair your computer doesn't deserve. If a ten-year-old machine needs a motherboard, we'll tell you plainly that the money is better spent on a replacement — and we can move your files over when you get one (see Sales & Upgrades). If it's a good machine with a cheap part failed, we'll tell you that too. Our estimate process exists so you can make that call with real numbers in hand.

Every job starts with a diagnostic and a written estimate you approve before we begin. Parts are quoted at cost. Most repairs are completed within a few business days and carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Software jobs are often done same-day or next-day. Hardware repairs typically take a few business days depending on whether a part needs to be ordered. We'll give you a realistic timeframe with your estimate and call you the moment it's ready.
No — walk-ins are welcome at 25 5th Street NE during business hours. Drop the machine off, tell us what it's doing, and we'll call with a diagnosis and estimate before any work starts.
Not if we can help it. Your data is treated as the most important thing on the machine. Where a Windows reinstall is needed, we back up your files first whenever the drive allows it. If the drive itself is failing, we'll talk to you about recovery options before touching anything.
